Hey guys, just wanted to add this event for those interested. We are doing our annual Stock The Yough Fundraiser again on March 29th, 2015 from 10am-4pm. If you would like to come out and shoot sporting clays and get a lunch, the cost is $150 per person. This price covers your ammo, lunch and targets, the rest goes straight to stocking the yough. I understand not everyone can participate because of the cost but we also do silent auctions and sell 50/50 tickets, all the proceeds go straight to buying fish. So even if you want to donate $5 you still can do so by buying a 50/50 ticket. There will be plenty of people there to talk to about fishing in Southwest PA, and we also are excited that George Daniel will be attending, he's scheduled to speak at 2pm.
Last year was a great success. We were able to stock 6,500 yearling fish into the Trophy Trout water, as many of you witnessed last year the fish did extremely well, I can't wait to see how plump they are this year. Our goal is to increase the age class of fish on the Middle Yough and add to the fish per mile that currently exists on this river.
