2012 Delaware Estuary May striper survey report

2012 striped bass spawning stock survey electrofishing report now up on PFBC web page. It was a tremendous April and May for striper fishing on this border (Pa/NJ) water this year. The 44 inch live striper photo alone may be worth opening the attachement. Plus, if you never saw a needlefish or thought they were not in Pa or NJ's border freshwater, here's a chance to take a look.

Good news! This combined with the excellent YOY from the Cheseapeake Bay last year has a lot of folks a lot more optimistic about striper stocks for the future.

I'd imagine there'a a correlation between the number of adult, spawning age bass striped bass in the Del River and susbsequent YOY for the same watershed?
