18 Mile Ck. Eden NY

Non fishing friend invited me to Eden for Bills game. Said good fishing for salmon browns and steel in S.branch 18 mile ck which borders his farm. Kromers mill area. Any guidance on techniques flies or how to's. Not much in way of info from online sources that I can find. I fish salmon river regularly and assume flies and techniques should be similar.
