This guy is a wizard with braided and woven stoneflies. I have some stonies from him, and they are the highest quality flies I own. Here's a link to a step-by-step tutorial:

He had a book called "Creative Flies: Innovative Tying Techniques" out a long time ago.

You can also Google "Robert (Last Name) Woven Stonefly" and you'll get a bunch of hits.

But he may also have suggestions or something he can help you out with. Visit his blog and send him a message. He's a good dude.

The other old famous woven body guru was George Grant. From Montana somewhere. Just last year or so.

Flytying Forum has tutorials

Go see Lou M. (he teaches fly tying) He does the best woven bodies ever. I am sure he'll be happy to help you.. :-D
