Only thing im confused about is the hackle.

Is this the correct hackle?

It just doesnt look like it would be the correct material that a finished woolybugger looks like with that hackle wrapped around it.

The really big one at the pointy end...or the big ones at the pointy end of any neck I have that isn't bald yet...I rarely buy hackle for buggers. I just use the part of any neck that I'm not using for anything else.

I use whiting bugger packs. Or just do what tom said. Use the webbier feathers that aren't appropriate for dries.
