White River Arkansas Info

Hi Guys,

Anyone here fish the White River down in Arkansas? I'm going February 20th for about a week.

Any tips would be great. Looks like small nymphs and big streamers.

I drifted the Bull Shoals section of the white River in mid November. We used Scott Branyon as a guide ( highly recommend). We caught fish with size 16 Pheasant tails, size 8 & 10 Woolley buggers ( black & olive / green), we were at the tail end of hopper season and had some success on the top. Also had success with a variety of soft hackles. When we were there the Browns were spawning up river so we caught rainbows and some cut throats.
