West branch Octoraro creek

Next week I plan on FF at Octoraro creek. Never been there before. Any one know about it. Any info appreciated. Thanks.

Take PA 472 toward Quarryville. Turn left on Puseyville Road, proceed to bridge over the West Branch. You can park next to the bridge in a game lands parking area. I like to fish upstream into the woods. Downstream is more open farmland.

You can also find access at Stewart Run . Just wade down Stewart Rn for about 100 yds to its confluence w/ the West Br Octoraro. The only other good access is just above the upper boundary of the C&R area. The wasn’t float stocked this year, but by now the fish should be well spread out and I would bet that those that have swum to mire isolated areas have not seen much pressure at all.
