i fished this today stretch today. Water is still cold 34 deg. but there were caddis larvae active and some BWO on the water. The water looks like good holding water with riffles, deeper runs and pools. It hasn't been stocked yet and won't be before another two weeks.
We didn't catch anything and I didn't see any fish being spooked. Does this stretch have a decent population of holdover and wild fish and I just had a bad day or is this just put and take fisheries and you don't need to bother fishing it?
