Wading Shoes/Boots

I was hiking along Codorus and met a guy from Delta PA. We talked for awhile and I noticed his boots. He likes them a lot. They are by Soft Science. Looks like they don’t provide much ankle support but he says that they are very light and comfortable.

Anyone have experience with them?

A friend of mine showed up for a trip wearing a pair and said the same... super comfortable and light, but not sure how well they'll hold up in the long run. We also noted that the soles are very soft and probably will not hold studs.
