I've been looking for several months now for a new set of waders. My last set finally sprung a leak and I'm looking to upgrade. What's everyone's thoughts on the best pair? Are the Simms G3 worth the price tag? I use my waders hard and tend to hike into back country streams and places others don't go. Any advice is appreciated.

My g3's have been worth the money to me.

I've tried almost every wader brand out there.
And think that Simms are the best - and worth the money.

After buying the G4Z's about 7 years ago now, I bought a pair of headwaters.
Mainly as backups. But also use them in hot weather - as they're a good bit lighter.
And I've been happy with them also

This is a good point. The higher end Simms use multiple layers of material in their construction and can be too much for warmer weather. Even the legs of the Headwaters can be a bit much, though the extra layers do limit pin hole leaks quite well.
