Anybody ever use this stuff? I just bought two spools in black. I know it's made in Denmark. Thought it would be a good thread to tie tricos and midges with. Any opinions?

great thread. strong for its size and lays flat

its becoming my first choice instead of uni

i use 14/0 for heads on salmon flies.

it is garbage
Care to elaborate on your answer? Why do you feel it is "garbage"? Thanks.

I use the thin stuff for my dries, it lies nice and doesn't bulk.

I have it in size 10, in white, and size 14, in dun.
I really like it for tying my small flies.

Comes in smaller diameters than uni and is much stronger. Better for tying sparse flies imho.

I tie my small flies with mono
