Valley within the National Park Closings

Looks like a good portion of the trail that runs along Valley Creek Rd, and subsequently the creek, is closed post Ida. Anyone who's been there recently can attest to this? Trying to plan on catching 2, maybe 3 hours tomorrow morning on the water tomorrow morning if all goes to plan. All are welcome to join also.

I was there post Ida, probably 2-3 weeks ago.The trail near the covered bridge was washed out and closed. The bridge itself appeared undamaged but it was closed. Upstream of the covered bridge was all accessible to fishing at the time I went.

When I was there they were doing work on the road (252) and that was closed.

If you do go, would love to hear if things have improved in the park.

I went last Saturday (10/9) and parked at Knox's. Was able to move freely upstream from the footbridge up past the iron bridge.

Was in the park friday afternoon (10/15) bridge and 252 are back open, trail downstream of the covered bridge is still closed.
