Any recommendation for a cheap UV flashlight that would work with Knot Sense or similar material? I have flies sitting around that I keep intending to use the sun, but never seem to tie in the day time nor remember.

Not sure what you consider cheap, but I use a Loon UV mini light I picked up for under $12. Not sure it would do the job for a volume tier, but it works just fine for me.

I think it was Jayl who posted one from Amazon. It was really cheap so I bought it. I like it so far.

Here's the link

Picked up the same one a few months back. Works like a charm and the shipping was fast! It also makes my kids' hamster cage light up like a Christmas tree! :-D

+3 for Foxgaps link.
Girlfriend of all people picked up for me. I use Loon UV wader repair which I assume is basically same as Knot Sense.

Those were all under consideration. But the cheaper the better. I don't tie that much.

And to think I thought I was getting off easy at $12. I definitely need to reexamine my idea of cheap.

Get Amazon prime for a year and I guarantee it will change your life for the better.

My wife and child have prime. Somebody told me family members can take advantage of their account, but I don't know how.

Anything under $20 was what I was looking for, but under $5 is amazing. I ordered from Amazon the day (Dynamic Nymphing) before I asked and now am kicking myself for not asking earlier. Thanks for the responses.

Guys,

I got a UV light at Dino Direct for $1.99 and it was free shipping and it works great with UV Knot sense. The shipping took 2 weeks or so but for $1.99 you can't beat it.

Dang. If it works for a week I'm happy!

the light has been solid for a few weeks now.

I have the Loon UV mini light. It does work, but it takes a long time to cure the epoxy. I might pick up that one from Amazon as well.
