The USGS real time data shows Kettle jumped to 322cfs from around 60cfs and the water temp dropped down to 42F. It almost seems impossible. Have there been issues with the site?

I suspect a problem with the gauge and or reporting.

Sounds right Swattie. I wasn't aware of any heavy t-storms in that area last night.
I could see it rising to that level quickly after a storm, but that water temp wouldn't drop that much.
