US Land / Water Conservation Fund

Permanent reauthorization of the Land and Water Conservation Fund passed the Senate, 92-8 earlier this week as part of the large public lands package.

The House, where it should pass easily too, is supposed to be taking it up later in the month.

^ VERY good news for all. Thanks for the update.

This legislation is on the House calendar this week and could be taken up for a vote as soon as this afternoon. The bill number is S. 47 (Natural Resources Management Act).

If you ever wanted to call your Representative to express support for permanent reauthorization of the Land and Water Conservation Fund, right now is the time.

This passed the House a little while ago, 363-62.
