Hey folks,

I'm going to be in Uniontown in a couple weeks on business and I know there are waters in the area where I can find some quick fishing opportunities???

I'll be in town for work and hoping to have 3-4 hours of time to steal away and get some fishing in while I'm in the state. I know the Ohiopyle area is nearby. Any suggestions for waters and access points not far from downtown Uniontown that'd be worth my time? I know I could fish the Yough, but would honestly prefer some waters smaller than that if possible.

Thanks in advance!
Epp

Look into Meadow Run and Dunbar Creek for Special Regs, the ATWs nearby worth checking out would be Whites Creek, Chaney Run, Big Sandy and various wild trout streams in the vicinity:

What dates? There are some good wild trout streams in the area, if you do the homework, they can be extraordinary.

Dunbar creek has a lot of fish now and its only a few minutes away. There are 3 miles of FFO water and about half of that gets fished.

...Yes and the other half gets Jumper Cable Fished!

With a name like Fayettenamese, I'm sure you know what I'm talking about.

Jumper cable fished? What weight rod does that require?

Yeah but Lafayette was a Revolutionary War Hero, I get the gist of it all, but think of how Lafayette would feel after having so many place names named for him. The current Marquis speaks at the Lafayette College Commencement quite often.

L.O.L. What's the big secret Chaz? Streams need friends right?

Chaz: Forget the Marquis deLafayette, how do you think General Joseph Hooker feels?
