Umpqua U Series hooks

Does anyone have experience with these? Although Umpqua has been a big seller of Tiemcos, this U Series appears to be their value offering. A number of shops have taken to putting out semi-generic hooks and I have been sampling them. I see Cabela's and Bass Pro have them on sale, and maybe even clearance.

I have used them before. But It's been awhile.

They were OK.
The metal wasn't quite as polished as the higher priced model.
Also seem to recall them being off a little size wise - just a tad smaller.

But they worked fine

i think i have one package of them but i dont really use them. theyre just okay

i used up all of my stock of $$$ tiemco hooks and now use mustad for most of my flies

They seem to work well for me. Things i have noticed, the scud/egg hooks have a slight off set and on the jig hooks they seem to run a size larger then the reg tiemco's but this also happens within different manufacturers as well to my understanding. They generally seem a heavier gauge wire as well. I like the value especially for steelhead flies as i tend to catch shale bottom often lol.
