two mixed wing flies

Both these flies are tied on old mustad hooks, though different styles.

Silver Doctor - from Bergmans "Just Fishing"
Probably was intended as a married wing.

Dirty Orange - from EJ Malone, Irish Trout and Salmon Flies.
Typically, these flies were tied with mixed style wings as shown.

Orange, Blue, Red Goose Shoulder, Golden Pheasant, Wood duck and Bronze Mallard
