Tube Flies: Part 1

Here's my newest YouTube fly tying tutorial, featuring Tube Flies. This is the first in a series, and if you haven't jumped into this aspect of fly tying yet, I definitely suggest trying it out. Though some find applications in trout fishing, I prefer to utilize tube flies for steelhead, striped bass, and saltwater applications.

I started out with a Renzetti tube fly vice but switched to the HMH tube fly vice since the mandrels are more rigid.

For most of my steelhead tying I use the 3/32 rigid tubing. The junction tubing for the 1/8" tubing is a bit big for holding the hook.
