Congratulations to Ken Undercoffer (“KenU” on this site) as the National TU’s 2009 Distinguished Service Award winner. We, as PA anglers (not to mention the PA brookies) are lucky to have you working for the conservation of trout in our home waters.

2009 Distinguished Service Award winner
Ken Undercoffer, Past President of the Pennsylvania State Council
of Trout Unlimited and a member of the Allegheny Mountain Chapter, has been chosen as National Trout Unlimited.s 2009 Distinguished Service Award Winner. The award was presented August 21 at National TU.s 50th Anniversary Celebration and Annual Meeting, in Traverse City, Michigan.
Undercoffer.s contributions to coldwater resource conservation are
legend. He has worn many hats within the Pennsylvania State
Council, as well as his chapter. Here is the nomination narrative submitted by veteran PATUers Ed Bellis and Jack Williams.
