i dont know if this is a pattern or not but i tye it using scraps after i tie a batch of pheasant tail and hares ears.

hook: size 14
thread: brown
tail: pheasant tail fibers
abdoman: hares mask
(i like the lighter dubbing for this fly it contrasts the peakcock and i believe attracts the trout.)
wing case: turkey tail; pheasant will work
body: peacock
head: 7/64 or 1/8" beads

sounds like a winner, allll natural

That's a great fly been using it for along time. In New Zealand they fish it on 8-10 and do well I normally fish it in 18-20!

any name. on it

pardon my french but i call it a Hare's ****.(due to the rabbit and peacock) of course LOL

i like to see people faces and listen to
"You caught that 16" fish on a WHAT????"

gets me laughing every time. lol

I mis your first post the pattern Im speaking of it just a pt with hare ear thorax instead of the peacock

Yep. Great sulphur pattern.

It's just a great attractor pattern. I have no doubt it will work next month in Colo. or in early Jan on the LL.....
