I remember reading about this pattern in one of the FF magazines.
They do look very nice!

Just curious though - has anyone has tried fishing with them?

Pain to tie but for selective trout they do work well.

Yeah, that's why I never tried them. Plus you have to buy special hooks.

That said, I'm always looking for new patterns to try on those picky Delaware river trout.........

I’ve never given these patterns a try. I do wonder about the hooking and holding ability of a hook bent like that.
