Another book I read over the winter was Bill Tapply's "Trout Eyes," which is a collection of his stories, many of which first appeared in "American Angler" when he wrote the final pages. This is a re-release of the book that first came out in 2007.
This is a nice fireside book. Tapply's stories are written well, and I think fly-fishermen will enjoy reading about Tapply's experiences.
(I used a gift card to get it at B&N, but I imagine you could find it online for less than the $19.99 price, though the book is well worth the full price.)
I recommend this book highly.
