trip to cross fork how's the fishing?

Going up to kettle creek up in Tamarack cross forks area how's the fishing been up there? We normally go in November but we know it is going to be far to cold this year so we are going in two or three weeks. Any spots to check out or bug life up there?

Fished Kettle just below Cross Fork and from Ole Bull upstream to the next bridge last Friday. Saw some trout below Cross Fork but didn't spend much time there since I really wanted to fish further upstream.

From Ole Bull upstream numerous native brookies up to about 8", 2 holdover 'bows and one wild brown about 9".

Slate Drakes (very sparse) and some sulphur-colored mayflies (possibly Leucrocuta sp.) hatching.
