Trico timing

Anybody have insight on when the Trikes will be happening? Most years I would aim for July Fourth on the Lil Lehi, thought the hatch there has been sparse for several years. Most years, about now I would see Trikes on the Brandywine, Tulpy etc. The weather has ben blowing hot and cold all year.

Early July is about right in the Lehigh Valley.

Trikes have been good on LL most years, but the wild fish have seemingly diminished.

I've posted plenty about this over the years. If you decide to go there please let me know how you do.

I’ve stayed home till July 15 in the Lehigh Valley. Been snookered too many times earlier.Recently the hatch that was bigger than my family room, 600 sf, have been as big as a trash can lid.

The were on the Lehigh in the gorge tonight 6/18, and fish were all over them. I didn't have any on me but a small #20 black caddis did a so so job in fooling a few. Had alot of refusals and missed a bunch, stinging a few more.

I will be prepared tomorrow.

Note on The east side of river below a major trib, water was 59F
