I was entertaining trying the Tobyhanna DHALO this week. Never been here before did as much E-scouting I could. Worth going? Have a few other places in mind also. I’m not trying to set the world on fire. Just looking to make something happen.

I fished it a few years ago and did well but the tick population was crazy!

It's cold this week so I'm going to guess any trout in the DHALO would be sluggish. I drive past the DHALO everyday to/from work. I've fished it many times but I never have liked it when compared to other pocono creeks. IMO, it has minimal insect activity (mostly caddis) and majority stocked trout except for some native brookies.

I would wait and fish next week when the temps increase and then I'd recommend fishing any of the nearby Class A's over Toby DHALO.

You had better check yourself for ticks got lymes up there from a tick. Fished it this past fall and nothing didnt even see a fish I would think there would be better places to spend a day.
