Tie this to imitate the crane fly's:
have to each leg on Pheasant tail

That's one of the nicest looking crane imitations I can remember seeing. Just pheasant fiber legs, hackle tip wings, and two different colored hackles palmered in there I guess?

I think that - minus the legs - that would also work pretty well as a grannom imitation

there is a dubbed body (thin) and this is a size 8 wet fly just so ya know. will be doing some in a dry version too..
