Tied my first flies!

Just wanted to share that I just tied my 1st ever flies. Did the Orvis Fly Tying 101 in Downingtown and tied a greenie weenie, wooly bugger and a san juan worm. Nothing over the top but was alot of fun and i think im hooked.

Congratulations. Good prescription for cabin fever. There's nothing better than getting help from an experienced tyer. Started tying last March but since October been getting weekly help from Gencon. Videos and books are great but there's a lot more you can get from an experienced tyer.

Congrats on getting started. You will feel even more excited when you get your first fish on one of your own flies. RCFetter mentioned that he ties with me. Which he does. But what i teach him he practices. That is the key.
