Tiadaghton Chapter #688 of Trout Unlimited will meet this Tuesday, Jan. 7 at the Wellsboro Community Center at 3 Queen St., Wellsboro. Both the business and general meetings are free and open to the public. Participants do not have to be a member to attend.

At 7 p.m., Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission Waterways Conservation Officer Chad Lauer will share information about the fish stocking program and proposed changes to fishing license requirements and other regulations.

The chapter’s regular business meeting will begin at 6 p.m. Among the upcoming events to be discussed will be the fly tying classes for beginners being held on five consecutive Wednesdays Jan. 8, 15, 22, 29 and Feb. 5 in the Hemlock Conference Room at Soldiers + Sailors Memorial Hospital in Wellsboro; the free Flies and Lies socials from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturdays, Jan. 18, Feb. 22 and March 21 at the Wellsboro Community Center; the Feb. 28 and 29 Keystone Coldwater Conference: “Resiliency in a Changing Environment” at State College; and the Fly Fishing Film Tour fundraiser at the Deane Center on Saturday, March 28.
