One of the few flies i've tied in one sitting, this took about 90 minutes from thread on hook to head varnish.

That looks awesome. I got so see some of your other ties at the Lancaster show last weekend. They were really impressive. My wife who doesn't really fly fish was equally impressed. I would have stopped to chat but you were busy with someone else and I unfortunately didn't have very much time.
 
Gorgeous and inspiring, as usual.

Interesting that you mention tying it in one sitting. I often find that when I'm tying a decorative fly (or a painting for that matter) that I can't bear to set it aside as I so much want to see it finished. I think it is tough to set aside a work of art...even though we need to do this. Good art takes time.

Thanks fellas - couple small shows and the Lancaster event got me back in the groove this winter!
