I thought most folks here would appreciate this one:

Dr. Kodrich had a great influence on my education and on my career. He was on my graduate school research committee, but as his students we learned a lot from him both inside and outside of the classroom that we could apply later to our chosen fields. I had the utmost respect for him.

Spent 5 weeks on Lake Pymatuning with Doc Kodrich. learning about statistics in my fly fishing infancy. A big reason I stuck with it. Nothing like a 5-credit A.

Today I recalled a comment that Dr Kodrich made to some of his grad (ecology/biology) students when a few of us were together at one time. He said that fly fishing was good for us to take up “because you could use your Biology.”
