looks like the experts got it right-30 yrs later.
When I lived there the experts said the jet streams had shifted and Montana would become part of the northern desert. Rained so much the following summer never once had to water-we laughed but no ones laughing now.
 
Blazing hot for 2 weeks with little to no rain but the heatwave did break and it has rained again especially around Yellowstone. Hopefully, those rivers will get relief.

The good news not all parts of the rivers are closing. I fished the Gallatin and Talyor Fork the last two days and the water was fine. Good flow and temps.
