TFO Pro II 2wt 7'3" VS Echo Carbon XL 2wt 8'

In the mood to buy a new rod. My normal rod I fish is normally a 10ft 3wt that I primary tight line with. When the smaller mountain streams come around i usually utilize a 6ft 2wt.

I've found myself fishing a little bit of an in-between waterways of those sizes where both rods work, but both have room for some improvement. Needing a reason for a new rod I was looking at the two mentioned in the title. They're both the same price and only difference is .2oz difference.

Anyone fish either?

Can't comment on the TFO but I have the 9' 5wt Echo XL....I like it but don't love it. I only use it a few times a year on mid sized streams when it is windy.

Echo has good customer service and if you break the top section of the Echo XL, you can just buy another top section ($20) which is cheaper than returning your rod under warranty.
