I recently found a very nice hardcover copy of Ed Koch's "Terrestrial Fishing". It's a 1st edition from 1990. What a great read. I enjoyed reading it as much or more than Ed's "Fishing the Midge". Anybody else here ever read it? If you enjoy fishing terrestrials as much as I do you will like it I'm sure.

When I first found out I was moving from Massachusetts to Boiling Springs, I bought every book I could find that mentioned both the Cumberland Valley and fly fishing. I picked up a copy of this book on eBay for less than ten dollars and when it arrived I found that it had been autographed.

Terrestrials, beetles in particular, may be my favorite fishing of the year and I enjoyed the book immensely. Although, I can't say I learned a great deal from it in a technical sense, as a historical narrative it's a great read.
