For those of that ilk. FYI, attached link to info about a tenkara rod that can be converted to shorter lengths for small stream fishing.

They sell left-handed Tenkara rods too. Put in your order before the deal expires!!

Tenkara USA has what's referred to as "zoom" or adjustable lengths in one rod for at least 5 or more years.

The shortest rod is called the Rhodo which is similar in length to the rod in the link however, the advantage to Tenkara is reach and keeping the line off the water and a longer rod does that better.

Even though I am practitioner, there are some small stream situations (densely overgrown) where conventional tackle is the best option.

Zoom rods have their place but it doesn't solve all of the problems inherent with Tenkara when the stream is small, but not wide open.

I own a Tenkara USA "Rhodo". Works very well on small streams. The zoom feature comes in handy at times. I have several streams where I prefer it over conventional fly rods.

I own both the Rhodo & Sato which will cover about 99% of the fishing I do Tenkara style.

I also have some really short lines I made up to use in the really tight spots which sometimes helps more than a short rod.

Like you, there are a couple of creeks I fish where Tenkara is easier & more effective.
