Swatara question

I have the opportunity to fish for an hour or 2 tomorrow night. Rather than try to fish the middletown res, I was thinking of working on my casting in the swatara.

What are the odds I will have any luck?

If you mean that you are going to the Swattie to work on your casting....will you have any luck? Don't know, never seen you cast. Do I think you'll have luck in catching fish? Very possible. Try a black bigger on a slow retrieve. The water should be warm enough for the smallies to start feeding. Try the edges of some slower pockets. Might enen get a big chub or rock bass.

The Swatty is a warm water stream, they do have fall fish and red eyes,and maybe a smallie or two if you are below the two remaining lowhead dams. the water is still very cold but I agree with k2 slow and easy may do the trick.
