The fourth Tuesday of the month at 7:00 PM is Suds and Bugs at the Crooked Eye Brewery. Were all us Crooked Eye Fly Tiers meet to have a beer tie flies and tell fly fishing stories.
Tie your own flies or come learn one of our monthly flies. This month is a hopper pattern just in time for the summer months

Bring a 3XL hook, Yellow Yarn, Red Bucktail, Turkey Tail, and deer hair for spinning. Don't forget your hair stacker and 3/0 yellow or grey thread.

Just bring your own vise and materials and join in the fun.

Is this a legless hopper or are you using the turkey tail for the legs as well as the wing?
