Yup. Never did it before or even thought of it. I will surely try it when streamer fishing for trout and smallies to see how well it works. It's looks like a trick that would come in handy when you see fish chasing but not taking streamers.

Could be a State Forest border or Gamelands border since the author, Domick Swentosky from "Troutbitten" is from Bellefonte and many of his videos are filmed in PA.

I don't believe white paint is ever used to mark PA state forest boundaries. I am in a PA state forest at least once a week and have never noticed this. Gamelands sometimes uses white paint markers along with red plastic signs or red metal signs to mark boundaries.

He is definitely in PA, though.
