I am curious as to what boxes you use to carry some streamers and articulated streamers about 4-6 inches. The only box I have is a MFC Fly Case.

This is a great box, but way to big for my waist pack or vest. I could lug this around with a backpack, but I do not always need or want to carry a backpack. Curious as to what boxes you prefer for wading.

I use the inexpensive plano boxes in several sizes.

For bulk storage, I have some of Ryan's Briefcase Boxes. For hauling around, I use a Cliff's Bugger Barn. Both of these units are somewhat disappointing, in that the adhesive that holds the foam to the box doesn't adhere, so the whole chunk of foam pulls out.

I also have a bunch of Scientific Anglers System X boxes. They make a bunch of different inserts, with the primary difference being the sizing of the foam slots. I have a streamer insert, but I also cram streamers into their nymph inserts too.

Allen has a Guide Fly Case, which is similar to Ryan's Briefcase Box, but I don't own any of those.

I intended to build my own, but have not gotten around to it yet.

honestly I use cheap tupperware containers my mom sends food home with me in. I keep them in a book bag in the back of my ride. If Im only going for a short evening trip I will throw in my favorites into a fly box. If im going all day I usually take the bookbag and just take em all. If I'm fishing from a boat or at a lake just take the bag.

i use two ziploc bags - one for dry streamers and one for used/wet streamers.

waterproof, floats and you can roll em up.

i've used them for 8-10" flatwings hi-tyes etc for Stripers with no issues.

I found this during a visit to Bass Pro. for the price, it great. I probably have 40 - 50 streamers/bugger sized flies in 1.

My buy made a boat box with one of these and a foam sheet. Less than $15 invested and a fraction the cost of a bugger barn
