I rarely endorse tying products but thought I'd make an exception for this material.
As one who experiments a lot with new material, especially synthetic stuff, I have really come to like a material from Semperfli company called "Straggle Legs" (or Straggle String in the smaller sizes) which comes in spools.
In particular, the black Straggle Legs in 10mm size is really ideal for nymphs and terrestrial legs.
Although the photo quality is poor, the pic below shows a ISO nymph and ant I tied using this material as legs or gills.
It's easy to work with and fun.
