St. Croix Legend Ultra 2015

After talking on the phone with St. Croix, it looks like Cabela's is doing a special run of the discontinued Legend Ultra series for 2015.

Same models as in the past...not sure how these rods were but simply passing it along.

Also, it looks like they are now offering Hardy for 2015 as well as some updated models of their own like the Cabela's Theorum among others.

5 year warranty. Really?

I don't understand the 5 year warranty. That's what St Croix has for the entry level stuff, like the $100 range.

I have 3 Legend Ultras and really like them.

It's a nice rod. Maybe medium to medium/fast in action. They always had lifetime warranty so the 5 yr thingy is strange to say the least. I've owned 4 of them and still have one that gets used on occasion.

I'll have to check the St Croix website. Maybe they've changed warranty on all models.
