I do a lot of my fishing with nymphs, but when I put a dry on it is often an elk hair caddis or something similar, this is a cool looking pattern though. Looks like it would work well around here.

FFP has a similar version that works very well within 30 mins of night fall. I've had good luck with it over the last couple years on several different streams.
