That was really great, I'm getting to be and old fart and am having trouble with my knots.
Have and easy way for blood/barrell knots anyone?

That's how I tie mine... Except I tie the "improved" variety with that extra little loop through at the end.

I do that too, but I put the tippet through the eye of the hook twice. That and I use my hemostats to twist the tippet instead of my finger. I find I have a shorter tag end that way.

That is the fastest way i have ever seen a improved clinch tied unfortunatly its only about a 60% knot, a trilene or palomar is just as fast and is a much stronger terminal knot.

I've been tying that knot for 100 years and am now kicking myself for not figuring out a better way such as was demonstrated in the video. Thanks
