Gary LaFontaine's Sparkle Emerger has been a great pattern for many over the years, and I wanted to share a variant that has worked very well for me recently. I'm sure many of you also have variations, and I'd love to hear about those, too...

Nice looking fly! Would you say a a No. 6 shot would be sufficient to pull it down just below the surface?

Thanks for the kind words regarding the video, and a 6 would be fine. I have used smaller sizes of shot than that with success, too...
