Yesterday I took the kids to the Queen City fish hatchery at the LL.
On the far long pond there is a side inlet that has rapid moving water coming in. As I dropped a handfull of pellets in the inlet rapids and watch it float, I noticed that none of them touched the pellets. That is until they hit the edge of the rapids or the swail around.
Watching this I kinda learned a bunch about where they sit and wait for food. Not so much in the middle of all the action, but right on the edge.
Follow the bubbles...not the big foam in the middle, but the little ones along the edge.
Yesterday was a good day...I learned something
