Took a few days with a buddy to fish some central PA stream systems. Spent time in the Little J, Bald Eagle, and Penns watersheds. Saw a few fish pairing up on the Little J, but no redds observed anywhere yet. Fish were active and colorful.
Highlight of the trip was a rainbow that charged a streamer from under a log. Had to pass the rod back under the log during a long fight. Fish taped at 27 inches. Colorful with clean fins, and wild bows in the stream, but hard for me to believe a fish that big was wild. Either way, it was a fun catch!
