What color is the underside?
Do you know the latin name?
I imagine mistaking these for Grannom wouldn't be a crucial mistake in matching the hatch.

Apatania Incerta, medium cased caddis heavyily weighted works wonders for these just before pupation. emergence and egg laying occur all day

The larvae also are brown or another color? And what is the case, rolled pebbles and sand?

Don't bring up the G word! It's too far away right now to get my hopes up in the middle of winter!

Wetflies for the grannoms are the way to go btw. I trail one off my wet and swing and catch a lot of fish on the wet.
