Size 14 Dark Caddis (dark dun/black)

Several stream reports (Penns Cr, upper Delaware) recently mentioned seeing size 14 dark colored caddis.

I've also seen a lot of these on the First Fork Sinnemahoning.

Most guys believe the green weenie is mistaken for an inch worm. It may be at times later in the summer, but there are many caddis larva and pupa that sport the bright green color, and this is one of them (pic below)

Green weenie hatch!! :lol: (Or now the the mop fly! :roll:)
