sinking lines/tips/leaders

Anyone use any of the above? i'm interested in what you use and why...advantages/disadvantages. After listening to Kelly Galloup on some podcasts i'm trying to bring my streamer fishing to a new level. If anyone wants to know where those podcasts are shoot me a line.

I'd like to hear them.

I fished a sinking line at the Salmon river once. It had a fast sink tip, about 10 ft long. It was real nice in the heavy water, but I hated it in the pools. It would often sink and snag rocks when I was trying to dead drift through fish.

I used a sink tip at the delaware. It made me wish I had a 6wt. The 5wt wasn't quite enough, but it worked I guess. I really liked how fun ripping the streamers was with it. It reminded me of fishing for schooling bass.
