I recently purchased a mint condition Abel Big Game Pt. 5 fly reel which had this line spooled on it. By the condition of the reel, and the appearance of the line, I do not believe it had ever been used.
Since it was spooled on the reel, it does have some memory coils, but I’m sure they will readily come out with stretching and use. It also has what appears to be new leader attached to it, which I have left on it, and it did have backing attached at the back end of the line, which I cut off. I have now also re-spooled the line and put it in a factory box for a 4wt MPX line, which I put on this Abel reel now.
I will sell this line for $20.00, picked up in the Lancaster, PA area, or shipped for an additional $5.00.
